We recommend starting music lessons for children at the age of 5 years old and older. This is because, at this age, children typically have developed the fine motor skills and attention span needed to benefit from structured music education. However, we do have some students as young as 4 years old who show an early interest and aptitude for music. If you have a younger child, we encourage you to contact us to discuss their readiness and potential for starting lessons. Our professional instructors are experienced in tailoring lessons to meet the needs of each student, ensuring a positive and productive learning experience.
We offer piano lessons in various neighborhoods in the DC area. We also offer piano lessons in Montgomery County, Maryland. Please email us at inquiry@chansonmusic.com to ask about your area.
